Our brand is established in 2007 and found by Dr. Napapatch Piyachaiyakul (Dr.Big). Before we start our brand history, let me tell you the history of our smart cofounder first. Dr. Napapatch has an “Electrical Engineering” background from Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University which is one of the best engineering school in Asia. After he graduated, he had a chance to fly over to England and continue his mater level in electronic field from University of Liverpool. After graduated, he had been working in several positions such as webmaster, software engineering, journalist and even the waiter in the kitchen.
He found himself with many experience from that point of view. He was wondering if he jumps out from his engineering field, what will happen to him? Then he decided to quit the software job and continue his second master degree in International Business field at University of Surrey. It was a long period of time to his doctoral degree. In that mean time, he started thinking about his family business which is related to mattress and sleeping product industry. His family business has a background on supplying raw material such as coconut, latex etc to the pillow and mattress factory.
Dr. Big started realising that his raw latex is supplied to many famous latex pillow and mattress factory. At the same time, he also realised that the quality of his raw latex in hand is so high and perfect for making sleep product. And this is the starting point of our company. He established the brand called “Napapatch Latex” which is coming from his name.
Our products
The goal of establishing is to revolute how people sleep with the natural material. Latex is one of the best material to be used in this pillow and mattress industry. Latex has ability to be curve itself according to any shape which bend them. With this property, it leads to a pure comfort and premium feeling while we lay down on the bed or pillow. The responsive time of adjustment is also fast comparing to memory foam or other material. This even deliver a higher level of sleeping posture.
Our policy
Our policy is to used only pure Natural to produce. There are two types of latex material in the market: natural and synthetic. The synthetic one is light comparing to the natural one. Normally the pillow with natural latex will be about 1.2-1.3 kg but the synthetic one would be significantly less than that. This could be one method of checking the latex product. However, nowadays there are some tricky method to make synthetic latex become heavier and look close to the real latex.
Our natural latex is fresh from the farm.
After squeezing latex liquid from the tree, we keep it in a very hygienic tank and use it within 45 days. Because from our research, the latex product will reach the highest level of quality if you injected the fresh latex to the mould in that period of time. This is one of the competitive advantage to product latex product in Thailand rather than producing in other places. Because Thailand is full of latex farm and the weather in Thailand is perfect for latex tree.
